Chariot Card Spread

On This Day

A careful examination of the RWS Chariot card reveals crescent moon—shaped shoulder straps supporting the profile of the human face on each of the charioteer’s shoulders.

The first National Automobile Show opened in Madison Square Garden today in 1900. Thirty-one car makers put exciting new vehicles on display while men with top hats and women twirling parasols strolled among new vehicles that didn’t include a horse.

Summation of Spread

The Chariot represents a person filled with motivation who achieves success due to personal labor and ingenuity. With its sense of forward motion, the Chariot stresses the ability to take the reins of any situation and stay firmly in the driver’s seat. A sense of direction and ability is implied.

Cars and all forms of vehicles are a literal translation of the Chariot card. This spread is based on symbols found in the Chariot card.
